Recovered FX seat -being sold at discount because it is not perfect!Important !! The plastic base of this seat was horrible! I do believe this would be fine for a rider， it is by no means perfection， but most likely is better then the 50 year old versions I have seen. Item is being sold as is， no returns， parts only. If it does not sell， I will simply take the cover off and install on a excellent base.

Recovered FX seat -being sold at discount because it is not perfect! Important !! The plastic base of this seat was horrible! Since the seats are getting difficult to find， I decided to put the work into restoring it， even though it was in horrible condition， The plastic was cracked in the front clip on area， and has been repaired， should hold fine. The plastic was cracked on both sides of where the rider sits， I did my best (which did not turn out perfect)， to repair the sides where the driver sits， the issue at hand is that when my epoxy set the sides were not in the correct positions， there fore the sides are waved and will not snug up against the painted fiberglass base of your bike correctly. The cover itself appears as original with molded in tucks， cover is sewn to plastic base in the exact fashion of the originals. Please realize my seats are hand produced using the closest material and grain available， over the years I have sold dozens of these seats. The molded tucks are hand produced one by one and may vary slightly in depth width etc. Also remember I am working with 50 year old foam that in some cases needs repairs etc...So if you are looking for some type of perfection that can be measured to the thousandths of an inch， please do not buy. My workmanship is simply a beautiful reproduction of the original which were by no means perfect. The beauty of my seats are they are soft pliable and will not crack like the 50 year material on the originals.
