◆素材

革のダイヤモンドと呼ばれる、コードバンを使用したドレスシューズ。
コードバンとは馬のお尻部分の皮です。
臀部の分厚い革に守られた厚さ2mm程度のコードバン繊維を、丁寧に裏側から削りだし、手間暇をかけて仕上げられています。
皮からコードバン繊維を傷つけずに綺麗に削り出すには熟練の技が必要です。
削り出す作業工程が宝石採掘に似ていることや、希少性・仕上がりの美しさから「革の宝石」と呼ばれています。
1頭から採れるコードバンの量はごくわずかであり、入手困難な素材になると言われ続けています。
また通常の牛革の2-3倍の強度があると言われいます。

◆デザイン

マッケイ製法によってつくられています。
甲革を直接ソールと縫い付けるため返り（屈曲性）がよく、軽量で馴染むと足を包み込むような履き心地になることが特徴です。
またトゥにはプレートを挟み込み、デザイン性と強度をあげています。
